GHOSTS

In Ghosts, rubbings from letters no longer there create images of their absence. This piece is based on a visual text by the same name from love: a book of remembrances. It consists of a series of rubbings of letters. The rubbing technique produces an impression of an object; a physical tracing of something that was in contact with the paper. It is a physical recording on the page of what was once there.
